To meet the transportation requirements of standard shipping containers, SHIYUN TRAILER usually use skeletal semi-trailers or flatbed container semi-trailers for transshipment.Standard shipping containers come in a variety of sizes, including 20ft, 30ft, 40ft, 45ft, 48ft and 53ft. Among them, 20ft and 40ft containers are the most commonly used.The number of axles can be configured according to different load capacity requirements.With a general load range of 20 to 60 tons, SHIYUN usually use two, three or four axles to ensure safe transportation of various containers.For flatbed container semi-trailers, we also sometimes refer to them as trailer flat deck trailers or high bed trailer .A flat bed trailer is a type of semi-trailer not only specially designed for transporting containers，but also carry steel products, mechanical equipment, engineering components, bagged cement and various other goods.Therefore, its load capacity covers a wider range than conventional container transporters, ranging from 20 to 100 tons.In addition to the common 2, 3 and 4 axles, 5 or 6 axles can also be installed.The length of the trailer is also more flexible than skeleton trailers, and can be fully customized according to customer requirements.
Customers can choose to install container twist locks for container transportation. If containers are not being transported, the twist locks can be omitted.

Based on the flatbed semi-trailer, we can add front head board ,side bars, drop side wall, or fences to meet the transportation needs of different types of cargo.
-Installing frond head board or rear head board of a flatbed semi-trailer can effectively prevent cargo from falling off, cushion inertia during transportation, and make operation safer and more convenient.
By installing stakes (side bars)on the flatbed semi-trailer, it can transport timber(log), bagged cement and other goods, effectively preventing cargo from falling off and making transportation safer and more stable.
Drop side semi-trailers are more practical with side board installed on both sides.The height of the side boards can be customized as per customer requirements, normally ranging from 600mm to 2000mm.Container twist locks can be retained together with the side boards, allowing the trailer to achieve more diverse transportation functions.
Fence semi-trailers generally have a higher protective structure, with a lower side board and an upper stake fence. Container twist locks can be retained, and both the side boards and stake fence are removable, making the vehicle more versatile for different transportation needs.
As the external dimensions of a flatbed semi-trailer exceed those of a standard 40-foot shipping container, it cannot be fully loaded into a 40-foot container under normal conditions. We generally use three methods to ship container semi-trailers:
3.1 40-foot container shipping: The rear section of the semi-trailer must be cut off. After the customer receives the goods, they can reattach the rear section using high-strength bolts provided by us. One 40-foot container can hold 2 to 4 semi-trailers.
3.2 45-foot container shipping: If the customer accepts higher ocean freight, this is a better option, as no cutting of the trailer rear is required and you will receive a complete, intact unit. One 45-foot container can hold 2 to 4 semi-trailers.
3.3 Roro ship / bulk carrier shipping: Some customers also choose to transport the vehicles to the destination port via roll-on ships or bulk cargo ships.
