1.Double Deck Loading Structure
Compared with ordinary semi-trailers, car carrier truck trailer adopt a double-layer platform design. As cars are light-weight cargo, this structure maximizes internal space. It allows transporting more vehicles in one trip, greatly reducing logistics costs and improving economic benefits.SHIYUN can also manufacture single deck loading structure, which is a more economical option with a lower price.

We offer multiple lifting solutions for the upper platform, including hydraulic cylinder drive, screw drive and steel wire rope winch drive, which can be customized as required. At present, the hydraulic cylinder lifting type is the most popular choice among global customers.

4.Due to the vehicle height limit regulations in most countries, the overall height of double-deck car carriers is a key concern for customers.Based on years of market demand, we adopt a low frame and low loading platform design to effectively reduce the total vehicle height.We provide various optimized low-height structures and can fully customize the design according to local road height restrictions.
6.Multiple body types for options
Three types: open frame type, semi-enclosed type and fully enclosed type. They can meet different needs of dust-proof, rain-proof and anti-theft transportation
7.Various rear loading ramps are available upon request. We provide pull-out, hydraulic, sliding and folding types, with all structures customizable to meet client requirements.
8.The suspension system of the car carrier can be equipped with either leaf spring or air suspension.
The air suspension enables the whole vehicle height adjustment, allowing smooth passage under height-limited bridges and roads.
9.SHIYUN offer various surface treatments for the whole vehicle, including spray painting, baking varnish and hot-dip galvanizing. Different finishing processes can be customized according to customer requirements.
10.The number of axles can be customized according to the loading capacity and customer requirements. We offer single axle, double axle, triple axle and four axle options.Double axle and triple axle are the most widely used configurations.
We can equip renowned brand axles such as BPW, FUWA, SAF and Jinsheng for your selection.
11.The rescue semi-trailer hydraulic system can be driven by the tractor’s PTO power take-off, or equipped with an independent power unit powered by the tractor battery. Considering stability and performance, we highly recommend adopting the PTO drive system
12.With the same overall length, to increase the loading capacity, we adopt an aircraft-type jump structure. Equipped with additional hydraulic cylinders for angle adjustment, it can hold more cars within the limited space and greatly improve transportation efficiency.
14.Each deck is equipped with height limit scales and serial numbers. Customers can adjust the loading height accurately according to the corresponding numbers.
15.The trailer can be designed with either single tires or dual tires.
The single tire configuration is usually matched with a drop center axle to achieve a lower deck height such as 11R22.5 tires.The dual tire version adopts 245/75 R17.5 tires with four tires per axle. This design provides higher load capacity, a lower loading platform, and a larger loading area.
16.In addition to longitudinal supports, we also adopt horizontal and diagonal reinforced bracings. This greatly improves the overall structural strength and stability, and extends the service life of the trailer.
17.The car carrier is equipped with hydraulic control handles. Each handle independently controls a set of hydraulic cylinders to realize the lifting and lowering function.
18.We can also design multi-functional car carriers.
Equipped with a mantis arm structure, the entire second deck can be fully lowered. When folded down, it can transport one 40ft container or two 20ft containers.The trailer is fitted with container twist locks to meet customers’ diverse transportation needs.

It is specially designed to carry 5 sedans or SUVs at one time.The upper body is directly mounted on the truck chassis, which can match various brands such as FAW, Howo, Shaanxi Automobile and Foton.We can provide the complete chassis for you, or you can prepare the chassis according to our technical requirements, and we will manufacture the trailer body.
Tandem coupled central axle car carriers truck
It has a larger loading capacity, which can transport 8 to 10 sedans or SUVs, 2 to 3 more cars than traditional semi trailers. It features a flexible chassis, small turning radius and excellent passing performance. The trailer can be unhitched, and the tractor head is suitable for short-distance transportation. With a low center of gravity, it runs stably with good anti-rollover performance, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading.
Car carrier trailers are much larger than standard shipping containers. Complete car carriers are generally shipped by RoRo or bulk carrier.If the customers have assembly capability, we can supply in SKD form and delivered by container shipment.
